Biologist graduated from the State University of Santa Cruz (UESC) and was an intern at Whales from the Hill in 2015, where she participated in the visual monitoring of humpback whales. Currently, she is a member of the Aquatic Mammals Research Group of Ilhéus and a master's student at the Tropical Aquatic System Program also at UESC. She is continuing the visual monitoring of the Guiana dolphin in the Pontal Bay in Ilhéus. Currently, the monitoring is occurring during the final phase of the construction of the Bridge Ilhéus-Pontal, which will allow comparing the use of space and movement of the Guiana dolphin before and after the construction.

Biologist graduated from the State University of Santa Cruz (UESC). Currently, she is a master’s student at Tropical Aquatic System Program at Aquatic Mammals Laboratory (UESC). She is a member of the Aquatic Mammals Research Group of Ilhéus since 2012 conducting studies on Guiana dolphin behavior and bioacoustics. She also has experience in research and whale watching cruises focused on humpback whales. She coordinates environmental education activities about the conservation of aquatic habitats. She was a volunteer at Whales from the Hill in 2014 and 2015, monitoring visually humpback whales from the land-based station.

Veterinary doctor graduated from the State University of Santa Cruz, with a master's degree in Animal Science from the same institution. She was a volunteer of Amiga Tartaruga Project and Whales from the Hill in 2015, and an intern at the Humpback Whale Institute. She worked at PAT ECOSMAR as a technician for monitoring nests and marking female sea turtles in Belmonte and worked as an instructor in the aquatic mammal rescue program at the Humpback Whale Institute. Currently, she works with wild and domestic animals in the extreme south region of Bahia.

Biologist and Master in Tropical Aquatic Systems at the State University of Santa Cruz (UESC). Since 2014 she participates in the activities of the Research Group on Aquatic Mammals of Ilhéus, where she developed the work of visual monitoring and photo identification of the Guiana dolphin. In 2014 and 2015 she was a volunteer of Whales from the Will, assisting in the visual monitoring of humpback whales in Serra Grande. Currently, she teaches the discipline of Sciences by the Secretary of Education and Culture of Ilhéus. She also develops activities for the conservation of aquatic environments and environmental education.

Biology student with a bachelor's degree in Organisms Biodiversity and Ecology from the University Paris-Sud (France). This year he will start a Master's in Aquaculture and Marine Resource Management at Wageningen University (Netherlands). He has done internships in research centers working on different fields: plant ecophysiology, marine mammals and, currently, virology. During his stay in Brazil, he worked with the Rio Grande do Sul Aquatic Mammals Study Group, and with the Applied Ecology & Conservation Lab participating in the visual monitoring of humpback whales in Whales from the Hill. He is particularly interested in marine megafauna ecology, conservation, and integrated multi-trophic aquaculture systems.

Environmental Technician at ETEC Martinho de Ciero and Ecologist at Paulista State University. Her main interest is in the conservation of biodiversity, more focused on mammals (terrestrial and aquatic). She was an intern in Casa da Floresta, and she joined as a volunteer in Aquatic Mammals Foundation, in Chapada dos Veadeiros National Park and Whales from the Hill. Nowadays, she works with the Ecology and Conservation of Amazonian Vertebrates Group at the Federal University of Amapá.
